These are some sermons my father, the Rev. Dr. Bill Palmer, preached in the 1960’s when we lived in Lake George, New York. They still apply today.
Pronouns Note: My dad was not a sexist man; in fact exactly the opposite. Equalities of many sorts (including gender, racial, etc.) were very important to him. However, in the 1960’s the convention was still to use masculine pronouns, as he did. I considered fixing that, but decided to leave his texts as he wrote them. So, when not referring to a particular person, please read “human” when you see “man”, “she/he” (or “they”, if you prefer) when you see “he”, etc. That would have been his intention, anyway.
