Welcome to my reincarnated website, where I reflect and comment on various aspects of life.  Here’s the site in a nutshell:

Stories: Some stories I’ve been writing lately. They’re all meant to be enjoyable to read. But most are also meant to stimulate some thinking.

Sermons: Some sermons my father, the Rev. Dr. Bill Palmer, preached in the 1960’s when we lived in Lake George, New York.  They still apply today.

Blog: This is the blog that feeds the following four categories.  By the way, I’ve left a few legacy posts from the previous incarnation of the site (2020), that are a little dated but are unfortunately still relevant.

Economics: Some interesting things I’ve come across while teaching myself economics for the past few years.

Politics: Mostly focused on the upcoming 2024 presidential election.  I may as well tell you up front that I’m not a Donald Trump fan. I think Trump is a deplorable man, not fit to be president of the great United States of America.  As you will see in these posts, he wasn’t fit previously and he’s even less fit now.

Spirituality: I was a Presbyterian minister for several years.  I’m not anymore, but I still pray at length every day and interact with the spirit in other ways.  These posts offer some insights from my strong relationship with the spirit (called God by Christians and other faiths, called other things by still others).

Thoughts: Miscellaneous thoughts here and there.

Brief bio: I’ve been around the block a couple times, having been quite a few things in my life.  These include: software engineer, project manager, Presbyterian minister, aerobics instructor, aspiring (but as yet unsuccessful) published author, and a several other miscellaneous.  I’m currently working toward an MPPA degree.
